Dear Journal Contributor,

U.S. copyright law requires the transfer of copyright from an author, explicitly stated in writing, so that a publisher can publish and disseminate the author’s work to the fullest extent. To fulfill this requirement, please sign and return this Publication Agreement to the journal editor. Notes: (a) If your manuscript has more than one author, all authors must sign this agreement; (b) if your manuscript was prepared as a "work made for hire," your employer must also sign this agreement as author.

The undersigned author(s) submitted a manuscript entitled:

X _______________________________________________________________________________________
_______________________________________________________________________________________
_______________________________________________________________________________________

for publication in Identity: An International Journal of Theory and Research published by Lawrence Erlbaum Associates, Inc.

The author(s) transfer(s) to Lawrence Erlbaum Associates, Inc., the exclusive rights comprised in the copyright of the article, if the article is published, except that the author(s) retain(s) the following:

1. All proprietary rights, other than copyright. 2. The right to make copies of all or part of the material for use by the author(s) in teaching. 3. The right to use, after publication, all or part of the material in any book by the author(s). 4. In the case of works prepared under U.S. Government contract, the U.S. Government may reproduce, royalty-free, all or part of the material and may authorize others to do so, for official U.S. Government purposes only, if so required by the contract.

The author(s) agree(s) that all copies made under any of the conditions just listed will include a notice of the copyright of the publisher.

Note: You are responsible for all statements made in your work and for obtaining permission from copyright owners to reprint or adapt a table or figure or to reprint a lengthy quotation (check with the editor of this journal as to the cutoff point)—write to the original author(s) and publisher to request nonexclusive world rights in all languages to use the material in the present article and in future print and nonprint editions; provide copies of all permissions and credit lines obtained.
