FAQ about My account and My profile (3)
What happened to my address?

Addresses were deleted from your membership profile April 2012.

SRIF's new membership system utilizes a new ADDRESSES tab in your membership profile area.

You can add a new BILLING address and a new SHIPPING address in this new address area. You can appropriately name addresses, or use one address as the default BILLING and SHIPPING address.

Note: If you have not entered new addresses and purchase a new or renew your current membership subscription you will be required to enter addresses on the checkout form. The addresses entered here will now become editable under your ADDRESSES tab.

I tried to 'Request a new password' and I did not receive the new password email.

If a member forgets their password they can Request a new password through the SRIF web site. The member should receive an email to explain how to set their new password.

1) Usually the SRIF password reset email is sent to the user's SPAM email folder if a problem is encountered. Please check your junk mail for this email.

2) Please make sure the email account used when creating the SRIF member account is searched for the 'SRIF reset password email.' Sometime members confuse their multiple email accounts.

If neither of these resolutions works, please contact technical help.

How do I change my Account User Password?

In order to change your password click on 'My account & Membership profile' link>then> 'Edit' tab >then> enter your new password into both Password: fields. You will be prompted to choose a safe password, you can use any password you like though.

FAQ about membership fees (2)
I received an email about my membership and fees!

You may have received one or several email of 'two types' of email originating from SRIF concerning your SRIF membership.

All memberships expire the last day of December unless you have purchased a two year membership.

1) The SRIF web portal will automatically send a membership update email one month prior to the anniversary of your membership payment. This email will alert you that your membership will expire in December, and also alert you to the date when your access to the online IIJTR will lapse, based on your last membership payment.

2) The SRIF Secretary will send Mass Contact emails as reminders to membership dues and schedules.

If you have any questions about these emails please contact us.

How do I know when my membership fees are due?

Memberships expire the last day of December. Membership fees are due annually unless you have paid for a multiple year membership.

Note: Your membership status is accounted for once your payment is received and then processed by SRIF. In most cases immediately through Pay Pal. However, your membership status may not immediately update when you pay your membership dues, especially in the case of a shared membership account holder.

If you have any questions please contact us.

FAQ about viewing this site (3)
What browser is the best-view for the SRIF web site?

Often different browsers (e.g., Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, etc.) present viewed content differently. While the SRIF web site is developed to be cross browser compatible, subtitle difference may be viewed among different browsers.

The SRIF web site is best viewed in the Firefox and Safari browsers for Windows machines and also for Macs.

Why is the SRIF web site developed for computer monitors that are 17" and larger?

The SRIF web site is developed in the Drupal content management system. In order to administer the organization-member accounts, often spread-sheet type content is necessary to view on the computer monitor. To accommodate the content management system it is necessary to set limits on the web site parameters. One of these parameters is minimal-viewing-width, set at 17”.

Why does text from the center-page column sometimes run over onto the right-side page column?

The SIRF web site is designed to be best viewed on monitors that are minimally 17” in width.

Simple answer one: Your browser is not maximized on a monitor large enough (17" or larger) to view all of the site content simultaneously without overlapping columns. Please maximize your browser and try to view all content again.

Simple answer two: Your monitor has a width that is less than 17”. Please attempt to view site on an alternate machine with a monitor that is 17" or larger in width.

Simple answer three: Your monitor's view-settings are not set properly for optimal viewing of the SRIF site. Please check these settings and attempt to view site again. If your settings are set to view text on 'view largest,' you may experience problems. Resetting to view text on 'view regular' or 'view smallest' is optimal for viewing the SRIF web site.
